Six things to watch on every match. None of them are the kill feed.
The winner of the pistol round takes the next two rounds more often than not. The loser wins round four or five. Track who wins the pistol and you have a third of the read on the half.
The forced save is the cleanest read on momentum. A team that loses the pistol, then loses the bonus, is in the worst spot of the half. A team that wins the pistol and stacks three wins is in the best.
One per half, two per map. A timeout after a lost pistol is panic. A timeout at 8–4 is recalibration. Read the timing, not the number.
One player on each side holds a site alone for the first twenty seconds. The duel that opens the round is the most important duel of the map.
Every death gets a response. Watch for the team that trades consistently — they win the round even when the entry duelist loses the duel.
A 1v2 or 1v3 is not a single moment. It is a five-second read of utility, positioning and map control. The desk breaks it down twice: once live, once on replay.
